i. Logistics
Our
customers benefit from our ability to offer a door-to-door service
as we can deliver anywhere in Europe. We are able to bring fresh
product from the factory to our European customers in less than
two days though our well-established airfreight routes. Our frozen
product is shipped in a sealed refrigerated container directly to
one of the major cold storage and distribution centres in Europe.
The frozen product is available on demand from this cold storage.
ii. Cold Chain
Working in a tropical climate, we are critically
aware the importance of managing cold chains. For fresh product
we have our own refrigerated vehicles to take the final product
under ideal conditions right into the airport. From there we only
utilize planes with managed hold environments to deliver our product
as fresh as is possible to our customers.
For frozen product, we load directly from our factory cold store
into a refer container. This is sealed until is reaches our cold
store in France, thus providing an unaffected environment for the
product.
iii.
Shelf Life
As our fish is farmed and we fully control the stress,
bacteria, temperature and distribution we have an exceptional shelf
life of up to 16 days for fresh product and 2 years for frozen product.
iv. Marketing
We have developed a full range of promotional material
to help our customers with promotions and marketing. This included
posters, leaflets, recipes, displays, videos and presentations.
We are getting increased exposure in the trade press, and we are
running an advertising campaign is appropriate publications.
v. Quality Assurance
We
have a dedicated team that check on and record performance on all
aspects of the business. They remove and check one of every boxes
of product leaving the factory. Before processing they check cleanliness
of surfaces, personnel and water only allowing processing to commence
once they are satisfied that all are in good order. They continuously
confirm the food safety of our products. They monitor the environment
making sure that there are no significant changes. They invite relevant
statutory bodies to inspect their work every month, to provide independent
confirmation that we are always maintaining the very highest standards.
vi. Sales
Our offices in Harare and Luxembourg have 6 full
time staff. They not only look after the logistics, but also are
on hand to facilitate quick and easy sales to all our customers.
vii. Year Round Supply
Our fish is not dependent on seasonal catches and
can be relied upon it every week of the year in the volumes that
you want. At any one time we will have 250 tonnes ready for harvest.
We have positioned ourselves to be the leading supplier of Tilapia
products into the EU and Southern African market.

Packaging
We have designed our own packaging to meet
the strict specifications that we require. Both fresh and frozen
packs are manufactured specifically for us using only virgin materials.
