Zimbabwe

Our commitment to delivering freshness to our customers is guaranteed by our world class Cold Chain Management system, where quality is safeguarded by using our own refrigerated haulage trucks.

LHD is focused on all sales within Zimbabwe and exports to South Africa, Botswana and Mozambique. LHD operates out of its Harare Distribution Centre and has six retail operations around the country – Harare (2), Mutare, Masvingo, Bulawayo and Midlands, providing the full range of tilapia products, as well as kapenta, mackerel, sardines and other fish products.

In 2017, LHD entered into a partnership with the Surrey Group to also retail their chicken and other frozen products and become a more rounded protein retail centre. The bulk of LHD sales are through the major supermarket chains – Pick’N’Pay, OK/Bon Marche and Foods Lovers Market

Zambia

Zambia distribution is based in Lusaka with 26 outlets countrywide selling all Lake Harvest products and many third party products. The management team also oversee the operations of Lake Harvest Malawi where there are three depots and retail outlets serving the Malawian market. The Zambian network covers exports to DRC and Tanzania. We hold the distribution franchise for Dendairy products in Zambia.

Kenya

LHK sells over 80% of SON production into Kenya through three retail outlets in Nairobi, Eldoret and Nakuru. All other sales in East Africa are handled directly by SON fish farm.
